Mission
Rockdale CASA Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to be a child’s voice in court. Through the use of trained and supervised volunteers, abused and neglected children will have an advocate to represent their best interests, to advocate for resources and to help the legal system be more child-focused, one child at a time; so that a child’s right to a permanent and safe home is ensured.
Vision
A world where every child who has experienced abuse or neglect is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.
Who doesn’t want to go home. The child who no longer believes in herself.
Who doesn’t know where her next meal is coming from. The child who must be the parent to his siblings.
The Child who is now in foster care. Who doesn’t know who these people are or how long she’ll be there.
Who’s attended six schools in four years. Who’s sits in back of yet another classroom, surrounded by strangers.
